Provides essential personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Performs basic activities of daily living support and aids in patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure.
- Support with nutrition, hydration, elimination, and personal care needs.
- Document patient conditions and report concerns to the RN.
- Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports and maintaining documentation.
- Contribute to a safe and organized unit environment through effective prioritization and organizational skills.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform self-care and patient care activities independently.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
