Full Time - Sales Associate - Plumbing - Opening

As a Customer Service Associate, you combine top-notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe’s. This is an excellent role for those who want to engage with customers and help them solve their home improvement challenges. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service. Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise. Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies. Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time. Cross‑functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service. Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds). Guide customers through shopping or checkout. Complete other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information. 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction). Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience. Bi‑lingual skills. Travel Requirements This role does not require regular travel; however it may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores. Working Conditions Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds and using team lifts when required. Powered equipment should be used with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker. Pay Range $15.00 - $16.80 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
