Sterile Processing Technician

Assembling, wrapping, packaging and sterilization of all reusable items in the Medical Center. Accurately prepares all case carts for Surgery in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring that the standards for AAMI/CMS are maintained to keep patient safe. Works to improve process and throughput. Works under the direction of Sterile Processing Manager and Surgical Services Director.

Type: Full-time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period

Typical hours: Shifts may vary between: 7p-3:30a, 11p-7:30a, and 12p-8:30p

Education:

High School Diploma or GED- required

Certification & Licensures:

N/A

Experience:

- Competent in all areas for SPD as determined by manager/director within 12 months of hire (for hires on or after 10/1/2024)- required
