Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse needed for Cardiac Cath Lab/EP, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cath lab environment. The role includes providing patient-focused care, assisting with complex clinical workflows, and maintaining safety standards during high-acuity cases.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for cath lab/EP services, ensuring readiness of equipment and supplies
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Assist with invasive procedures by supporting sterile technique and appropriate documentation
• Administer and manage medications and therapies according to provider orders and unit protocols
• Maintain accurate charting, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments
• Participate in call coverage and perform weekend rotation duties as required

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license (pending NM/Compact acceptance; obtain prior to start if applicable)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of cath lab experience
• Handle first-time travel assignments successfully with adaptability to new environments
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment skills for procedure-based patient care
• Follow safety, compliance, and documentation standards in fast-paced settings
