Senior Claims Examiner (General Liability) Location: New Haven County, CT Salary: $85,000.00–$105,000.00 Employment type: Full-time Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Responsibilities Manage a caseload of moderate to high‑severity General Liability claims. Conduct thorough investigations, analyze coverage, determine liability, and establish appropriate reserves. Collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy and settlement negotiations. Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications 5+ years of GL claims handling experience. Strong working knowledge of commercial liability policies, litigation management, and coverage analysis. Proven ability to handle complex claims from inception through resolution. Ability to travel to the Connecticut office three times a week; may travel to office on a monthly basis.
