Pastry Assistant Responsibilities:

• Gather ingredients and equipment to prepare desserts and pastries.
• Follow standard recipes and procedures to deliver high-quality food in a specified time limit.
• Deliver pastries of the highest quality and consistency.

Pastry Assistant Requirements:

• A minimum of one year experience in food production.
• One year experience with baking or pastry production
• Must complete food safety programs successfully within 30 days of hire.
• Workdays, nights and/or weekends as required.

Pastry Assistant Physical Requirements:

• Standing and/or walking 95% of shift.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds for 30 % of shift.
• Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching for 50% of shift.
