Pastry Assistant Responsibilities: Gather ingredients and equipment to prepare desserts and pastries. Follow standard recipes and procedures to deliver high-quality food in a specified time limit. Deliver pastries of the highest quality and consistency. Pastry Assistant Requirements: A minimum of one year experience in food production. One year experience with baking or pastry production Must complete food safety programs successfully within 30 days of hire. Workdays, nights and/or weekends as required. Pastry Assistant Physical Requirements: Standing and/or walking 95% of shift. Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds for 30 % of shift. Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching for 50% of shift.
