We take pride in our commitment to safety, quality, and innovation - and in creating a workplace where employees can thrive.Why Join United InitiatorsOn-the-Job Training: Learn safe and efficient chemical handling and repackaging practices while working alongside a skilled and supportive team.Steady Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; weekend and holiday availability is required, with overtime as needed.Competitive Pay: Start between $20-21/hr, depending on experience, and participate in our 4% annual bonus program.We Offer a Competitive Benefits PackageMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Available starting on your date of hireCompany-Paid Coverage: Life and AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness (if enrolled in medical), and Accident InsuranceWellness Rewards & Health Advocate Program 401(k) Retirement Plan: 100% match on the first 2%, 50% match on the next 4%, plus 3% Safe Harbor and potential profit sharingMain Focus Responsible for repackaging Persulfates and performing general warehouse operations while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.Duties and ResponsibilitiesArea of Responsibility 1: Persulfate Packaging and Inventory ControlSafely handle Persulfates and Organic PeroxidesPerform product changeovers and cleanouts on the Persulfate packaging lineMaintain accurate inventory of bulk bags, pails, and lids on the Persulfate lineWrap and label Persulfates according to specificationsAid in management of Persulfate and Organic Peroxide wasteTrain other employees as requiredParticipate in safety and procedure development for the siteArea of Responsibility 2: Warehouse Operations and Material HandlingReceive and load trucks, including import and export shipmentsOperate sit-down and stand-up electric and propane forklifts safelyOperate yard mule truck and other material-handling equipmentClimb ladders and stairs while tied off as requiredUtilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and inventory tasksEnsure work area is clean and organized at all timesOther duties as assignedSafety & EnvironmentWear all required PPE and maintain a proactive safety mindsetParticipate in safety meetings and comply with all site safety rules and regulationsQuality AssuranceEnsure accurate labeling, packaging, and documentation for all materialsSupport ISO 9001, 14001, and Responsible Care programsRequirements & QualificationsEssential:High school diploma or GED equivalent or verifiable work experienceAbility to lift up to 60 lbs regularlyProficient in math and basic computer skillsAbility to climb stairs and ladders and navigate congested sites safelyStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskAbility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededMust understand verbal and written communicationMust meet fit-to-work policy and wear required PPEDesirable:Chemical handling experienceStand-up and sit-down forklift experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalentWork EnvironmentWarehouse and plant setting requiring physical activity such as lifting, climbing, and operating forkliftsExposure to chemicals and varying temperaturesKey CompetenciesSafety AwarenessAttention to DetailTime ManagementTeamwork and CollaborationProblem SolvingAdaptabilityWork AuthorizationUnited Initiators will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
