Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Expertise in caring for an acute population
• Experience with Meditech
• Airway and respiratory procedures, including oxygen administration and suctioning
• Vascular access procedures, such as peripheral IV insertion
• Perform trauma assessments and manage trauma activations
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation and ventilator monitoring
• Conduct patient education and coordinate transfers
• Handle neurological emergencies and critical cardiac care procedures

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH, CPI certifications
• Experience in trauma center preferred
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
