About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS AWHONN Intermediate BLS NRP Must-Have: At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience Description: The position requires experience in labor and delivery nursing. The nurse will provide care to patients during labor and delivery. Expected patient ratios are 1:1. Weekends are required with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Candidates must demonstrate skills in various aspects of labor and delivery. This includes assisting with high-risk deliveries, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal resuscitation. Familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. The role may involve floating between units as required. Participation in holiday shifts is expected. References covering the past year are needed prior to the start. Candidates must commit to contracted schedules and any time-off requests up front. Compliance with all organizational policies and procedures is necessary.
