Job Title: Cybersecurity/RMF Specialist Location: Rockledge, FL (full-time, CONUS) Clearance: Current active DoD Secret clearance required. Salary: $88,599 – $139,366 annually, based on experience and location. What You’ll Do Manage security controls and compliance activities aligned with RMF and NIST guidance to protect systems, networks, and data. Analyze and document cybersecurity risks, incidents, and vulnerabilities, translating impacts to authorization status and overall risk posture. Develop, maintain, and test contingency, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring plans to support system resilience and ATO requirements. Oversee implementation and validation of security controls, ensuring compliance with DoD RMF and DISA STIG requirements. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications Education & Experience: 5–7 years in cybersecurity focused on RMF, system security engineering, or A&A. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Certifications: At least one of CISSP, CGRC, or SecurityX (formerly CASP-CE) is required. Technical Expertise: Strong experience across all RMF lifecycle stages, especially Stage 4; hands‑on RMF documentation and DoD accreditation processes; familiarity with eMASS, DADMS, STIGs, GIAP/SNAP, DoDI 8510 series; knowledge of NIST SP 800-series and DoD policies; ability to assess threat information and develop security measures; create security procedures and policies; protect sensitive information. Clearance: Must have a current and active DoD Secret clearance. Travel Requirements Some overnight stays possible. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Prolonged sitting/standing and desk‑based computer work. Travel between work locations including company offices, customer sites, government installations. Occasional extended work hours, including evenings or weekends. Use of laptops and job‑related tools during site visits. Work performed in secure facilities where personal electronic devices may be restricted. Communication via verbal and written methods. Manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail. Problem‑solving and conflict resolution in dynamic environments. Compliance with applicable medical or travel requirements for certain assignments and with vaccination/medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles.
