Electrical Estimator OpportunityA well-established local electrical contractor is looking to add an experienced Electrical Estimator to their team. The company has a strong backlog of local commercial and industrial projects and is looking for someone who can help develop accurate and competitive bids.This is a great opportunity for an estimator who wants to work with a local contractor and focus on projects in the local market rather than constantly chasing work across different regions.Responsibilities:Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projectsReview drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documentsComplete material and labor takeoffsSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricingDevelop accurate and competitive project estimatesPrepare bids and proposalsIdentify project risks, exclusions, and opportunitiesWork closely with Project Managers, Operations, and company leadershipManage multiple estimates and bid deadlinesAssist with transitioning awarded projects to the Project Management teamRequirements:3+ years of electrical estimating experienceCommercial and/or industrial electrical construction backgroundAbility to read and interpret electrical plans and specificationsStrong understanding of electrical materials, labor, and installation methodsExperience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsKnowledge of the local electrical construction market is a plusWhat's Offered:Competitive salary based on experienceBonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits package401(k)Paid time off and holidaysStrong backlog of local projectsEstablished local electrical contractorLong-term growth opportunityNo constant travelIf you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to work for a strong local contractor and focus on projects in the area, we'd like to hear from you.Contact:Ben BroersGPAC Senior Director | Electrical Construction RecruiterCell: View email address on click.appcast.io
