This role supports the interests, needs, and daily engagement of individuals, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport individuals in daily living activities, community engagement, and achieving ISP outcomes.Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment.Prepare meals, assist with hygiene, and complete household tasks.Accurately complete documentation, logs, and required reports.Administer medications per procedure and follow all safety and licensing standardsCommunicate regularly with supervisors and participate in required trainings and meetings.Ensure proper staffing ratios, secure the home, and follow all Delta policies.For overnight shifts: complete half-hour checks, hourly Vista transfers, follow duty lists, and assist individuals in the morning routine.Retention Bonus & Employment CommitmentTo support workforce stability and continuity of care for the individuals we serve, Delta CommunitySupports, Inc. is pleased to offer you a retention bonus totaling $2,000, subject to applicable taxes andwithholdings.The bonus will be paid in three installments:$500 after successful completion of 6 months of employment$500 after successful completion of 12 months of employment$1,000 after successful completion of 18 months of employmentTo be eligible for each payment and to maintain the bonus, you must:Remain actively employed in good standingWork an average of at least 30 hours per week during the applicable employment period.NADSP Certification (DSP-I, II, III).High School Diploma/GED.Valid Driver’s License.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on a given assignment.Ability to resolve non-routine situations properly.Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.Ability to travel locally within surrounding county areas to provide direct support.Benefits:401 (k) Match program, with a generous match of 3%.Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.Company-paid life Insurance coverage for full-time employeesVoluntary supplemental Insurance options for additional coverage.Company paid holidays, sick time, and vacation time.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides eligible employees with confidential counseling, support services, and resources to enhance well-being and maintain work-life balance.Professional development and internal advancement opportunities.Please note that participation in the listed benefits is contingent upon eligibility criteria.We believe in rewarding experience and professional development.
