Registered Nurse - Night Shift (Rotating Weekends and Holidays)

This is a full-time position for a Registered Nurse responsible for planning and providing total patient care through the nursing process. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs, while also directing patient teaching and managing the activities of ancillary personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Direct and guide patient teaching for health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all patient interactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license required.
• BCLS & ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

This position requires full-time night shifts, working 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, rotating weekends, and holidays.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
