Student Housing Brand Ambassador

Student Housing Brand Ambassador $80k + up to $20k bonus The Brand Ambassador will be 100% responsible for promoting my client's Student Housing brand to the approximately 500 tenants occupying six student housing properties located at USC and owned by my client, a national student housing operator. Primary Responsibilities To plan, promote and execute hospitality events for the tenants at each of the six properties. This shall include producing a forward‑looking monthly schedule of events with an approved budget by the company. To use these hospitality events to distinguish the properties from their competitors, to create personal relationships with each tenant and to create tenant loyalty to the brand that will be demonstrated by lease renewals. To promote the success of these hospitality events on social media, create a social media following and generate positive social media postings by our tenants that will attract new tenants to our properties for the fall 2026 school year. To ensure that our management is responding to any complaints or suggestions by our tenants so as to insure that the properties are delivering the best student living experience in the marketplace and to insure there are no unhappy tenants and no negative reviews or postings on social media. Success Metrics Tenant attendance at these hospitality events; The growth in attendance to these hospitality events; The number of positive social media postings by our tenants; The number of existing tenants that renew their leases; The number of referrals from our tenants or these hospitality events that result in new leases; Any new leases generated from social media posting by the Brand Ambassador; The speed by which the properties are leased for fall 2026 semester as compared to the previous year; and The degree by which the properties achieve increased rental rates over the previous year. Notwithstanding the foregoing, my client is an entrepreneurial organization and prides itself on its ability to change as market conditions change. As circumstances evolve, the above responsibilities may change to achieve the companies objectives. You will be expected to work out of the leasing office, which is in Los Angeles, CA 90007. Work Hours This position is an “exempt” position meaning it is not a typical 9am to 5pm position. Given that the hospitality events will take place at different times, some in the morning, some on the weekends and most in the early evenings, work hours will be dictated by the schedule of events. You will be expected to devote the time and effort necessary to complete the responsibilities of the Brand Ambassador. Event Planning Provide a draft monthly hospitality event schedule and budget to supervisor 30 days in advance. Assume 3 evening events a week and 2 morning events per week. One of the foregoing events may be replaced with a weekend event. Coordinate with leasing manager to promote each event on social media and physical promotion at each property with the use of flyers or other means. Implement RSVP system with rigorous follow‑up to insure adequate attendance. Possibly combining multiple properties for an event. Work with leasing manager to invite uncommitted prospects to events. Work with leasing manager to solicit new leases from prospects and renewal leases at each evening event. Coordinate food delivery if required, set up, break down and clean up. Document events with photos, videos, and/or live‑stream for social media engagement. Typical food for morning grab and go events: coffee with donuts, bagels, or pastries. Typical food for evening events: pizza by the slice, hot dogs, subs, tacos, and soft drinks. Evening event themes: rooftop movies, rooftop DJ party, social media scavenger hunts for prizes, air hockey/ping pong tournaments with prizes for winners, holiday parties. Weekend pool parties with food. Oversight of and coordination with 3rd party property manager. Prior to any event, coordinate with the general manager to ensure the property is clean and presentable. Provide a daily report to the supervisor and general manager on daily observations of the cleanliness of each property. Each property will have a “suggestion box” in the lobby. The Brand Manager will check weekly and provide a weekly report to supervisor and general manager the results of any complaints or suggestions from the suggestion box and from the events. Work with leasing manager to increase social media engagement and add additional followers.
