Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA

*Arroyo Vista Nursing Center* *is looking for a caring and compassionate Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team!* You will be responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.

*Education/Requirements:*

* Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy
* Must hold current and active State license or Registration
* One years experience in long-term care or related setting preferred

*Responsibilities*

Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

* Conduct assessments to evaluate patient progress and adapt care plans as necessary.
* Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and activities of daily living (ADLs).
* Document patient care and progress in compliance with medical standards.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings, including home health, outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing facilities.
* Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, focusing on improving mobility and functional independence.

Job Types: Full-time 32 to 40 hours per week

Pay: $40.00-$45.00

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
