Job Details:

• Seeking a full-time or part-time psychiatrist to provide behavioral health services to individual patients across the lifespan
• Daily schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm; no evenings or weekends
• Practice will consist of primarily outpatient services with the possibility of a rotating schedule for inpatient and ED consults
• Pediatric experience and competence preferred, though not required
• Conduct health screenings and psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications
• Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, and support staff
• Seek consultation and refer patients to other providers when necessary
• Collaborate with other departments and specialties to effectively and ethically treat patients with complex medical needs and comorbid mental health concerns
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Build rapport with patients, prescribe medications, and emphasize health promotion and disease prevention
• MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry required
• ABPP certification preferred, though not required
• Child/adolescent certification preferred, though not required
• Must successfully complete credentialing process prior to practice
