The Controller will serve as a hands-on leader, strengthening financial reporting, improving processes and controls, developing the accounting team, and providing executives with meaningful financial insight. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations, including the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow reporting, and financial planning Oversee project and service billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and treasury Establish and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, and operating procedures Partner with executive and operational leaders to evaluate profitability, performance, and business trends Deliver financial analysis that supports strategic planning and informed decision-making Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and improve operational efficiency Mentor and develop accounting staff while building a scalable, high-performing team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred Four or more years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Construction, project-based accounting, shared services, or similar fast-paced industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and the complete accounting cycle Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and operational analysis Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment Strong desire to develop professionally and assume increasing levels of responsibility Why Consider This Opportunity?
