Job Overview:

The Portable Restroom Technician is responsible for assisting in the delivery, setup, servicing, and pickup of portable restrooms at various locations. Working under the direction of an experienced technician, this role includes helping to load, transport, clean, and maintain portable restrooms while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position requiring punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be capable of pulling and handling 14-foot wire, including meeting physical demands of the job (lifting, pulling, and maneuvering materials)
• Setup and Delivery : Help load and deliver portable restrooms to event sites, construction locations, or other designated areas.
• Pickup and Removal : Aid in the breakdown and retrieval of portable restrooms after events or as required.
• Equipment Handling : Help with handling hoses, pumps, and other sanitation equipment as needed during servicing.
• Customer Service : Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner when onsite, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
• Safety Compliance : Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure proper handling of sanitation equipment and waste materials.
• Vehicle Care : Assist with keeping service trucks clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
• Other Duties : Perform additional duties as assigned by the lead technician or manager.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from the workplace. CDL B
• Ability to work a full-time schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for additional hours depending on events or jobs.
• Ability to follow directions and work closely with an experienced technician.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy portable restroom units (up to 75 lbs).
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including varying weather.
• Punctuality and strong work ethic are essential.

Skills & Abilities:

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when cleaning and maintaining restrooms.
• Basic mechanical skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.

Working Conditions:

• Regularly works outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical demands include lifting, standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Exposure to sanitation waste and odors as part of job responsibilities.
• May be required to work occasional weekends or evenings based on event needs.
