In this role, you will perform electrocardiograms and related cardiac diagnostic testing for patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clinical providers while supporting early detection and management of cardiovascular conditions in a geriatric population.ResponsibilitiesPerform EKGs, rhythm strips, and other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testsPrepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfortProperly place electrodes and operate EKG equipment according to established protocolsMonitor patients during testing and report abnormal findings to the supervising clinicianEnsure accurate labeling, documentation, and timely submission of test resultsMaintain and clean equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standardsCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staffTravel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of an EKG Technician training program preferredEKG Technician certification (CET or equivalent) preferredPrior experience performing EKGs strongly preferredExperience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings a plusStrong attention to detail and technical proficiencyExcellent communication and patient-care skillsComfortable working with the geriatric populationAbility to travel as neededBenefitsCompetitive salary: $60,000 - $90,000Paid Time OffWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEqual Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
