Maintenance Technician

Full-Time | Pay: $25.00/hr DOE | Industrial / Facility Maintenance

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with experience maintaining and repairing production equipment, building systems, HVAC ductwork, sheetrock, and general facility components. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs safely in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and equipment.
2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
3. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, gearboxes, air compressors, boilers, and chillers.
4. Perform basic electrical work, including wiring, conduit, motors, sensors, and electrical testing.
5. Complete facility maintenance including sheetrock, HVAC ductwork, light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and building repairs.
6. Fabricate or repair components as needed.
7. Complete preventive maintenance inspections and work orders.
8. Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment and facility repairs.
9. Operate forklifts and use hand, power, and testing equipment safely.
10. Follow LOTO, electrical safety, confined-space, fall-protection, hot-work, PPE, and OSHA safety requirements.
11. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Industrial, manufacturing, machine, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
3. Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
4. Working knowledge of high/low voltage and 3-phase electrical systems preferred.
5. Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
6. Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
7. Ability to perform physically demanding repairs, work at heights, and work in tight or challenging environments.
8. Ability to work independently while also supporting a maintenance team.
9. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, alternate shifts, or emergency call-ins when required.
