AR / Staff Accountant (Project-Based Opportunity)

Location: Benicia, CA (100% Onsite)



Pay: $28 - $34/hour



Duration: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an AR / Staff Accountant to support a key accounting project with a growing organization in Benicia.

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Prepare and post Journal Entries (JEs)
✅ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
✅ Assist with Sales & Use Tax filings and reporting
✅ Support month-end accounting activities
✅ Review financial data for accuracy and compliance
✅ Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects and process improvements

We're Looking For:

✔ Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting
✔ Strong understanding of reconciliations and journal entries
✔ Exposure to Sales & Use Tax processes preferred
✔ Proficiency with Excel and accounting software
✔ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
