Clubhouse Grill Server Assistant

Job Responsibilities Display a congenial appearance and be well groomed at all times. Handle a fast‑paced work environment with attention to detail. Ensure all setups are ready for service according to standards. Assist service colleagues with pre‑shift duties: polishing serving trays, setting up the bar area, polishing buckets, and other side duties as outlined in the pre‑shift duties list. Assist staff in delivering a flawless dining experience, consistently providing exceptional food, superlative service, elegant decor and exquisite presentations. Uphold service team standards and maintain them consistently. Communicate with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff; relay information both ways. Expedite completed dishes to the service area, provide table maintenance to servers, and assist bartenders with set‑up, glass polishing and restocking of bar items. Assist in breakdown and clean‑up of service areas: replace and clean coffee and espresso service, store trays, and keep the bar area tidy for the next day’s service. Qualifications Prior experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred. Food Handlers Card required. RBS Certification required. High School graduate. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions. Knowledge of restaurant operations, services, and facilities. Superior guest service abilities and a complete understanding of California serving guidelines.
