About This Role
We're seeking a dependable and caring Dishwasher to join our team at Sprout Early Learning Center! ️
As a Dishwasher, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our young students receive nutritious meals.
The part-time position requires a 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional breaks throughout the year.
We are closed on major holidays and take a holiday break from Christmas Eve to January 1.
Your starting wage will be $16 per hour.
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
What You'll DoAs a Dishwasher, your responsibilities will include:
️ Retrieving breakfast and lunch carts from our classrooms to ensure timely delivery of meals.
️ Utilizing our commercial dishwashing system to clean and sanitize dishes, and restock carts with fresh dishes.
Collaborating with our cook to set up carts with meals for delivery to classrooms.
Preparing fruit and vegetables for next day's meals.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to our high standards of food safety.

RequirementsIdeal Candidate:
Has strong affection for children and enjoys working in a kitchen environment.
Understands the importance of time management and organization.
Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a must, or willingness to learn.
Must be a reliable and flexible team player, able to work independently.
Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
Nice To HavesPrior experience working in a commercial kitchen is a plus.
