Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: Days (0700-1930) every other weekend

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS required.
- PCU and basic EKG experience preferred.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability.
- Conduct advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and self-care post-discharge.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
