Direct Hire: Project Manager (Engineering Services)

Location: Decatur, AL 35601

Duration : Full time

Salary : $110k-$130k

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 6:00AM–4:00PM

Position Summary
Project Manager will manage our projects from the point of sale to the close-out documents is a challenging task that is crucial to our success.

• Managing multiple projects from award of business to final closeout.
• Create and manage the master project schedule, driving team progress to the schedule.
• Verifying client and subcontractor designs and concepts meet the as-sold scope of work
• Manage the project submittal process with the Project Engineer, outside vendors and sub-contractors.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Coordinate internal resources and contract manufacturers, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Manage the relationship with the customer and all project stakeholders.
• Establish, manage, and coordinate installation schedule with customer. Coordinate installation with the Field Installation Manager.
• Tracking of project budgets, ensuring each phase of the project is within plan, identifying and mitigating risks to the project's success.
• Main point of contact between Client and Customers.
• Regular reporting on job progress and costs to management.
• Managing subcontractors that support the installation.

Requirements:

• Cradle to grave Project Management experience
• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
• 2 years Minimum of Engineering Background
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate project teams
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
• Strong negotiating skills
• Pass background checks and pass a drug screening
• Up to 30% travel, but based out of the Decatur, AL office
• Must pass a Background & Drug screen
