Open positions are available for: Grades K-4 Resource Room Grades 5-6 Resource Room Grades 6-8 Resource Room Qualifications and Experience Sought: Valid Special Education Teaching credential/certification Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement), with preference for education-related fields Prior experience working with students in resource rooms or special education settings Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and tracking student progress Collaborative, flexible mindset and effective communication skills with students, parents, and team members Experience or confidence working with varying disabilities and adapting instruction as needed Key Responsibilities: Develop individualized lesson plans and modify curriculum based on student needs Deliver engaging instruction for students with varied abilities in resource room environments Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress toward IEP goals Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all learners feel supported Communicate with families regarding student successes and challenges This contract position offers a chance to focus your expertise on helping students achieve their greatest potential while working alongside dedicated educators.
