Social Media Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a hands-on Social Media Specialist who is comfortable working directly inside Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager to build, run, and optimize paid social campaigns for our clients. This role also owns organic social strategy and execution. The ideal candidate knows how to read campaign performance, spot what’s working and what isn’t, and proactively recommend strategy shifts that keep campaigns aligned with client goals — not someone who sets a campaign live and checks back at the end of the month.

What You’ll Do

• Manage paid social campaigns — Build, launch, and manage paid ad campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, from audience targeting and budget allocation to creative testing and bid strategy.
• Optimize with intention — Continuously monitor campaign performance, identify trends and inefficiencies, and make data-informed optimizations to improve results throughout the life of a campaign.
• Recommend strategy shifts — Assess how campaigns are tracking against client goals and proactively suggest changes to targeting, creative, budget, or platform mix when performance calls for it.
• Own organic social — Plan, schedule, and manage organic social content and posting calendars for clients, keeping content aligned with brand voice, campaign themes, and platform best practices.
• Engage and monitor — Track engagement, comments, and messages across client social accounts, and monitor brand mentions and community activity.
• Collaborate on creative — Partner with our creative team to develop ad concepts, copy, and content that performs — bringing platform-specific insight into what formats and creative styles are working now.
• Report with clarity — Deliver monthly client reporting that breaks down paid and organic performance into clear, meaningful insights — showing not just what happened, but why it matters and what’s next.
• Stay ahead of platform changes — Keep up with algorithm updates, new ad formats, and platform features across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and bring new opportunities to your accounts and the team.
• Support new business — Contribute social media expertise to proposals, audits, and pitches as needed.
• Follow industry trends — Research emerging social media and paid social practices, and contribute to company case studies and blog articles.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience running paid social campaigns, with hands-on, in-platform experience in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
• A track record of managing organic social content and calendars in addition to paid campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills — comfortable pulling performance data and translating it into clear takeaways and next steps.
• A proactive, optimization-first mindset. You notice when something isn’t working and act on it — you don’t wait to be told.
• Solid understanding of audience targeting, budget pacing, and creative testing across paid social platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills for client reporting and internal collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts at once in a fast-paced environment.
• Agency experience is a plus, but not required.

Who This Job Is Not For

• Someone who runs “set it and forget it” campaigns. This role requires active, ongoing management and optimization.
• Someone without hands-on ad platform experience in Meta, TikTok, or LinkedIn. This isn’t a role to learn paid social skills from scratch.
• Someone who’s only worked in organic social and hasn’t managed paid budgets or campaigns.
