Your Role as a CT Technologist:

As a CT Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic imaging scans using CT equipment, assisting healthcare providers in making crucial decisions regarding patient care. You'll ensure that patients are comfortable and properly prepared for their procedures, all while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Operate CT scanners to obtain detailed images of internal structures to assist in diagnoses.
• Patient Care: Ensure that patients are educated about the procedure, address any concerns, and provide them with comfort and safety.
• Collaboration: Work with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure imaging results are interpreted accurately and integrated into the patient's treatment plan.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure its safe operation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date records for each patient and imaging procedure.
• Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensure: ARRT certification in CT is preferred or must be obtained within a specific time frame.
• Experience: Prior experience as a CT Technologist is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to operate CT equipment, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Other: CPR certification required or must be obtained shortly after employment.
