Cook I at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. Responsibilities Prepare food items per guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, and maintain production, portion, and presentation standards. Complete mise‑en‑place and set‑up the station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. Start and finish pre‑prepared food items, ensuring they are not cooked beyond estimated needs. Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment such as deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat‑top grill. Date all food containers, rotate inventory according to policies, and ensure perishables are kept at proper temperatures. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up; note any out‑of‑stock items or potential shortages. Return unused food items to designated storage areas, covering and dating perishables as required. Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems. Control food waste, loss, and usage per company policies. Qualifications High school education, culinary arts education, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years culinary or related work experience. Basic culinary knowledge and proficient knife skills. Ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean all specified kitchen equipment. Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States. Open availability is required; position is full‑time. Benefits Hourly pay range: $27.10.
