• Evaluate results meticulously for accuracy, address any anomalies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and properly prepare specimens for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, complying with all relevant regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• Obtain ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your start date.
• Maintain active certification throughout the duration of employment.
