Location: Abilene Maternal Fetal Medicine Department: Maternal Fetal Medicine Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary Cook Children’s Physician Network, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has an exciting full time opportunity for a board certified/board eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. This physician will see patients in our Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic in Abilene, Texas. This location will allow them to enjoy a lower cost of living as well as an excellent quality of life in this beautiful community, just west of the Dallas Fort Worth area. The addition of a Maternal Fetal Medicine program has allowed Cook Children’s to offer not only quality care for the mother, but ongoing care for a child in need. When a high risk diagnosis is made, we are able to coordinate specialty care with a number of specialists during the pregnancy and after delivery. This process makes the integrated care of the child as easy as possible for both the child and their families. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. American Heart Association BLS and PALS. Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date). Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics. Board certified/board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
