Receiving Clerk

Job Summary $22-$24 per hour | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Romeoville, IL- worksite in nearby Bolingbrook Enjoy keeping schedules organized, catching details, and helping a warehouse run smoothly? An established distribution company is seeking a Receiving Clerk to coordinate deliveries, maintain accurate shipment records, and keep warehouse teams and carriers informed. This role combines computer-based recordkeeping with daily warehouse coordination. It begins as a temporary assignment, with the potential to transition to permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Conversion is not guaranteed. What You'll Do Schedule deliveries and pickups and communicate appointment changes. Coordinate dock assignments with warehouse teams and carriers. Review shipment paperwork, enter receipts, and maintain organized records. Investigate inventory differences and record approved adjustments and returns. Arrange small-package shipments and help resolve shipping issues. Prepare routine receiving and inventory reports. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar programs. Strong organization and attention to detail. Clear communication and dependable follow-through. Ability to work independently and contribute to a team. Helpful Experience Shipping, receiving, warehouse administration, or inventory support. Familiarity with warehouse or inventory software. Logistics or supply-chain coursework or certification. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, not required.
