Requirements / Qualifications
CERTIFICATION • Possession of a current valid license as a vocational nurse issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners. Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing • Valid California Driver's License • Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED

- Possession of a current valid license as a vocational nurse issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners. Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing
Comments and Other Information
WORKING CONDITIONS • Primarily indoor working environment in school health office • May assist students restrooms or other designated areas • May require driving a vehicle to conduct work PHYSCIAL DEMANDS/HAZARDS • Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of medical instruments and equipment as well as office equipment • Moderate to heavy physical effort; ability to reach in all directions; lifting carrying (up to 50 lbs. unassisted) as assigned by position • Sitting or standing for extended periods seeing, hearing and speaking to exchange information • Moderate to high stress level • Exposure to and contact with blood and other bodily fluids. All fluids shall be handled as in infectious; universal precautions policy to be consistently implemented. Exposure to communicable diseases
