Hours: 4pm to 7pmSupervisor: Director of Dining Services, Manager of Dining Services, and/or Cooks, Clinical StaffJob Description:Prepare and serve the stated menu meal in the absence of the cookComprehend and utilize computerized meal production sheets with adaptive diet countsSweep/mop large areas as neededPerform "short order" style cooking as neededResponsible for setting up dining rooms for meals and cleaning same dining rooms following the mealsResponsible for reading tray tickets and assembly of meal trayResponsible for serving an assigned section of an assigned dining roomResponsible for dish room dutiesResponsible for assembling house nourishment supplies and stocking same on assigned houseResponsible for storing assigned left over snacks, nourishments, desserts with proper labels/dates/times.Follows sanitation codes, policies including proper glove use, hair restraint and uniformResponsible for cold food production as assigned by cookPrepares salads, desserts, mechanically altered foods with correct counts as assignedDelivers nourishment cart(s) to unit(s) and is responsible for cleaning and setting up cart(s)Follow all HACCAP Regulations.Performs duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facility's corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws. Adheres to the facility's confidentiality statement in accessing and safeguarding protected health information (PHI) of residents and employees, as necessary to perform job duties.Performs any other duties assigned by the Department supervisors.Qualifications:Ability to read and write EnglishAbility to follow instructions, both oral and writtenAbility to endure up to four (4) consecutive hours of standing/walkingAbility to work alone and with minimal supervision as conditions dictatesAbility to understand and use cleaning supplies and/or equipment as neededLifts supplies and equipment up to 50 lbsAdditional Information:Charles T.
