Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state status
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Stepdown and/or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and protocols

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for individuals requiring close observation and intervention in a Stepdown/PCU environment
• Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment and progress
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
