Maintenance MechanicLocation: Tallahassee, FLSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMDuration: Long-Term ContractPay Rate: $20/hr on 1099Key Responsibilities:Perform daily inspections of HVAC systems and minor repairsConduct electrical and plumbing maintenance (e.g., outlets, lighting, valves)Execute preventive maintenance (air filters, motor lubrication, bearings)Inspect Life Safety systems (fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights)Oversee janitorial conditions and minor cleaning tasks as neededInspect exterior property (sidewalks, parking lots, roofs)Support office relocations and furniture assemblyMaintain building security system, including access card programmingLiaise with contractors and property management for larger repairsParticipate in On-Call rotation for after-hours maintenance needsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair workAbility to read blueprints and operate standard maintenance toolsComputer literacy and familiarity with maintenance trackingAbility to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate vehiclesStrong communication and problem-solving skills
