We are looking for a results orientated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), with strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills to exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Administrator. The successful applicant will have strong leadership and supervisory skills, and enjoy working with the elderly. Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON): Active RN or LPN license Active CPR certification Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel Great communication and people skills Outstanding organizational and stress management skills Aptitude in problem-solving Responsibilities of ADON include but are not limited to: Maintain standards of the nursing homes. Helping to hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses. Ensure smooth operation of the nursing department. Assisting in budget preparation and expense management. Inform management of any staff concerns.
