SUMMARY Seeking a self-motivated Engineer with strong electrical circuit analysis, design, and testing skills. Requires the ability to handle complex tasks with moderate supervision and deliver creative technical solutions. Must have excellent written and verbal communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, Integration & Testing (40%):
• • Execute analysis, design, testing, integration, and installation to meet project objectives.
  • Translate customer needs into technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), and development plans.
  • Estimate project costs/schedules and assist with proposal preparation.
  • Coordinate work across cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Production, Field Service).
  • Maintain thorough technical documentation to the company's standards.
• System Improvements & Field Support (As Needed, <10% travel):
• • Enhance system reliability and update Fault Isolation procedures based on field service events.
  • Provide remote or on-site support to Field Service teams to minimize patient treatment downtime.
  • Maintain immediate phone availability during business hours (reasonable response time after-hours).

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Core Skills: Analog/digital design (concept through manufacturing), circuit troubleshooting, and high-level planning.
• Power Systems: Experience with high-power switch mode and multi-phased controlled rectifier power supply technology.
• Tools & Software: EDA tools (VeriBest), Matlab, Mathematica, MathCad, PCB design/schematic capture. Linux and RF experience desired.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to present ideas clearly, draft technical manuals/specifications, and maintain project documentation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Degree: BSEE from a 4-year college or university with 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
