Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one in-home support to an individual with developmental disabilities. This position focuses on promoting independence, enhancing daily living skills, and providing person-centered care in the individual's home.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support in the individual's home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks as needed.
• Support the development of communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Implement individualized support plans and behavioral strategies.
• Ensure the individual's health, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors and family members.

Qualifications

• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 6:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Part-Time (25 hours per week)
