CDL Driver | Yard & Operations Team

Do you enjoy being behind the wheel and take pride in delivering great service? Southern Lumber is looking for a dependable CDL Driver to join our Yard & Operations Team.

In this role, you'll spend your days delivering lumber, moulding, windows, doors, and other building materials to local job sites throughout the Charleston area. You'll be the face of Southern Lumber on the road, helping ensure our customers receive the products they need safely, accurately, and on time.

• Must be coachable, a team player, and customer service minded.
• Must follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself and teammates.
• Able to contribute and maintain a neat and tidy work environment on the yard.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and pay attention to details.
• Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.

Your prior Experience:

• Class A or Class B CDL Driver.
• A background in prioritizing safety, putting customers first, and being a contributor to a team.

Job Type: Full-time, 40-50 hours/week
