Registered Nurse (RN) (3rd shift)

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our growing team. This position is for 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am) with shift differentials offered! As a Registered Nurse with ARC, you will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment helping individuals overcome substance abuse addiction. The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the System of Care, responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients as they go through the rehabilitation process. Key Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessments and monitor clients. Member of the treatment team. Handle medication management; train staff on medication dispensing. Ensure universal precautions of the center. Facilitate health education groups including general health education and medication/drug interactions. Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow the prescribed course of treatment. Determine and implement specific protocols as designated by the doctor. Protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with ARC/Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law. Maintain respectful and confidential relationships with clients and staff. Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike. Bring policy or personnel issues to supervision as they arise. Interact with a multidisciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health. Communicate with the case manager and assist in ensuring client safety. Adapt to schedule changes and assume responsibilities not delineated in the job description. Interact with staff and clients in a professional manner. Coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Prioritize work and work-related responsibilities. Key Experience and Education Needed Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky. 2 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred). Substance abuse experience (preferred).
