Moderate The facility is receiving a steady flow of submissions — a good time to get yours in Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with prior travel and teaching hospital experience for a role requiring both scrub and circulate skills at a major academic medical center. Details Operating Room unit within a teaching hospital setting Day shift, 5x8 hours (11:00 AM-7:30 PM) Handles OHNS and craniotomy procedures, OMFS, plastic surgery, dental surgery, combined neurosurgery/OHNS procedures, open and endoscopic cases, and free flap reconstructive procedures Ability to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed Epic charting system used Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of submission BSN required AHA BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Minimum 3 years of experience required Previous charge experience required Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history Scrub and circulate skills required Epic charting experience required 2 professional references from most recent employer required Additional Information Perform scrub and circulate duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, cardiovascular, general surgery, endoscopic, robotics, urology, ENT, bariatrics, transplant, and thoracic procedures Any prior employment with University of California medical facilities or their acquired facilities must be disclosed with dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional RTO requests accepted mid-contract and no RTO allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel Travel pairs allowed but generally not placed on the same unit; married couples may not work on the same unit These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
