Join Kemper as a Life Insurance Sales Manager, where you'll recruit, develop, and lead a team of agents while driving territory growth through hands-on field leadership. You'll spend the majority of your time working alongside agents in the field, helping them succeed while growing your own career.What You'll Do:Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team of insurance agentsLead by example through active in-person sales, including door-to-door prospecting and in-home customer presentationsCoach agents through regular field ride-alongs, providing real-time sales training and developmentBuild a strong local presence by networking within the community to recruit talent and generate new business opportunitiesDrive territory growth by supporting agents in achieving sales goals and expanding customer relationshipsMonitor agent activity, identify coaching opportunities, and provide performance feedback to improve resultsConduct field and phone-based business reviews to reinforce compliance, customer engagement, and effective sales practicesDemonstrate and reinforce the use of company technology, sales tools, and business processesSupport customer needs in territories without assigned agents by personally conducting sales and service activitiesPartner with the District Manager to share field insights, identify training needs, and improve overall territory performanceWhat Success Looks Like:Consistently achieves or exceeds territory sales goalsBuilds and retains a strong, high-performing team of agentsDevelops agents through effective coaching and hands-on field leadershipMaintains high levels of compliance and customer satisfactionCreates a positive, accountable, and results-driven team cultureBuilds strong community relationships that generate both sales and recruiting opportunitiesQualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance sales, sales leadership, field training, or a related roleActive Life, Health, Property, and Casualty insurance licenses in required statesProven success recruiting, developing, and coaching sales professionalsStrong leadership, communication, and performance management skillsComfortable spending approximately 80% of your time in the field working directly with agents and customersValid driver's license, dependable personal vehicle, and minimum 100k/300k auto liability insurance coverageAbility to pass a background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screeningAuthorization to work in the United StatesWhy Join Kemper?Competitive pay plus uncapped commission and multiple bonus opportunitiesLeadership development and career advancement opportunitiesSupportive, high-performance culture focused on coaching and growthOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while building a successful teamComprehensive training, technology, and field support to help you succeedCompensation:Total on-target earnings (OTE) typically range from $47,600 to $111,200 annually based on expected performance, including a $25,000 base salary plus uncapped commission. Earnings are driven by new business growth and expanding relationships within an existing customer base, with additional upside through multiple bonus opportunities. High performers may also qualify for annual incentive trips.
