Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech and language services across a variety of grade levels. This opportunity centers on supporting two vibrant K-12 school communities, serving roughly 75 students at each site. Your expertise will be instrumental in nurturing communication skills for learners with diverse needs, ranging from preschoolers to high school seniors.
Ideal candidates are collaborative and compassionate speech-language pathologists equipped to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative support. You’ll build lasting relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, helping maximize students’ educational experiences through tailored interventions.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for state credentialing as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (Preschool-12th grade preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between district sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative services in group and 1:1 settings
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy methods and materials for a variety of ages and abilities
