IEA Press Brake Operator 1st shift

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This advanced-skilled position is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC-controlled forming, cutting, and rolling equipment . The ideal candidate is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes and related forming, cutting, and rolling equipment.
• Perform first-piece inspections and final quality checks to minimize scrap and ensure product accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve most production challenges independently, seeking limited supervisory assistance when needed.
• Assist with training and supporting less experienced machine operators as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and adhere to department 6-S standards and Six Sigma principles .
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience operating CNC press brake machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
