Cincinnati, Ohio Type: Direct Hire Work Model: OnsiteResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing processes by evaluating and improving capabilities, scheduling, specifications, and quality standardsCollaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing efficiencies and implement improvementsInput accurate data into ERP management system, manage routings and bill of materialsSupport deployment of capital equipment and standardize production processesPrepare process documentation, including changes, additions, and modifications for production readinessDesign lean manufacturing layouts, utilize flow, Kanban, and 5S methodologies for process improvementsEngage with customers on manufacturability enhancements and interface with engineering and production staffDesign, implement, and validate tooling and fixturing needsCommunicate daily operational information, trends, and concernsTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues raised during productionRequirementsProficient with SolidWorks or similar CAD softwareKnowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, welding, and machiningFixture design experience requiredFamiliarity with lean tools and techniques for continuous improvementAbility to interpret assembly and part drawings (metric and standard)Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) practicesSkilled in MS Office applicationsStrong planning, organization, and time management skillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum of 4 years of manufacturing experienceAbility to work on the shop floor and lift up to 15 pounds
