Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients improve mobility. The role aims to reduce pain and assist patients in regaining independence. This position collaborates with providers and care teams across various care settings, including acute and long-term care. Availability for both 4x10 hour shifts and 5x8 hour shifts may be required. Hours may vary between 34 to 40 hours per week based on census or case load. First-time travelers are accepted if they have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend. The role does not require on-call duties or floating to sister facilities. There are no restrictions on requested time off. The position is open to local applicants. Special requirements include familiarity with diverse patient populations and specific rehabilitation needs. Sought skills include acute care, outpatient clinic experience, and knowledge of rehabilitation practices. The therapist will work with various patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Strong time management and assessment skills are essential for this role. Effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans is necessary. Experience with treatment modalities and techniques for diverse conditions is preferred.
