Heal And Align Physical Therapy is looking for a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Kissimmee, Florida. Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our cutting-edge hospital facility, where teamwork and communication are key to delivering superior patient outcomes. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals, including Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and administrative staff, all dedicated to providing high-quality care. Our normal schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques as outlined in the treatment plan provided by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility training and gait analysis, enabling them to improve their functional abilities and recover from injuries.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy, to enhance the rehabilitation process.
• Consistently monitor and document patients' progress, recording their responses to treatment, which is essential for adjusting care plans and ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with the Physical Therapist and the interdisciplinary team to formulate and modify treatment strategies for continued improvement.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques to foster independence and maintain progress post-therapy.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. As a PTA, you will work closely with individuals of all ages, from young athletes to older adults, emphasizing compassionate care and tailored therapeutic approaches that aim to restore strength and mobility.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Licensure: Must hold an active and valid physical therapist assistant license in the state of Florida.

• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple patient schedules while maintaining meticulous documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
