As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care. This role may also involve cross-training in other medical imaging areas.

Location: Richland, MO $52,009 - $67,099 a year

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain punctuality, flexibility, and composure under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring everyone is informed about exam progress.
• Provide safe patient transfers and personal care, utilizing adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Adhere to confidentiality standards and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Follow departmental policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient safety and accurate record-keeping.

Education

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program is required.

Experience

At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred but not mandatory.

Certifications and Licenses

• Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry-eligible with commitment to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Mental and Physical Requirements

This position requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, and the ability to transport oneself throughout the department.

Working Conditions

Potential exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, anesthetics, and controlled radiation. The role may require on-call availability and varied shift schedules to meet patient care needs.
