Position Posting

Position Title: Classroom Instructional Aide (PT)

Location: Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center

Min. Starting Rate: $15.00/hour

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma
Prior experience working with children
Ability to work independently with minimal

supervision

Ability to apply excellent judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Current Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances upon hire

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

Work with individual students as well as small groups of students under

the direction of the classroom teacher

Assist teacher in record keeping
Assist monitoring cafeteria and recess periods
Assist teacher in materials preparation
Understand/utilize classroom management plan established by teacher
Escort students to specials, lunch, etc.
